4 Ball Fun at Sanctuary Cove

4 Ball Fun at Sanctuary Cove

Always a sell-out, the Sanctuary Cove 4 Ball Golf Challenge is loads of fun. And here is why…

The Camaraderie

This exclusive event – restricted to just 100 golfers – has a friendly and relaxed vibe. It is easy to see why it is so easy to make new friends with everyone staying at the 5-star Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. You’ll find other participants lazing about in the lobby, having breakfast, catching up for a drink or having dinner. Social outings are quickly planned around willing participants. Singles are paired up for golf and quickly feel included in the Go Golfing community. The 4Ball Challenge is a wonderful opportunity for golfers to do what they love – golf – and to get together for some good time.

To add to the fun, players will be put together into bigger teams. The welcome dinner sets the tone for an entertaining week as everyone comes dressed in their team colour. On the final night, each team puts together an act – a theme song, poem or jokes – based on team colours. This makes for a memorable evening filled with laughter.

The Sanctuary Cove Golf Lifestyle

Sanctuary Cove is a destination in itself. You’ll feel right at home the moment you arrive. Everything is at your fingertips – the accommodation, the competition golf, the social events. Here, everyone drives golf carts to get around and share a passion for golf – with two premier championship courses in a unique natural setting. The humble golf cart is simply a way of life for Sanctuary Cove residents and visitors. Whether it is driving to the golf course, getting the morning paper, or meeting friends for dinner, you’ll find yourself driving around in a golf cart.

With the Marine Village – just a 5-minute walk away – it is a true village lifestyle. You are spoilt for choice with an abundance of casual and fine dining restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. Ah! this is living!

The Tournament Format

Open to male and female club golfers, this exclusive event is restricted to just 100 golfers. Playing as a team of 2, the unique competition format featured best ball, ambrose and aggregate events.

We came to try to play some reasonable golf, meet some new people and generally have some fun

Silvana & Paul, Noosa Springs, QLD

We met at a Go Golfing tournament in Hobart in 2010. We've had to go back to Go Golfing. It's part of our lives. Playing better than last year would be nice.

Professionally run, outstanding fun, excellent golf. The Intercontinental was excellent. A most relaxing holiday. Thank you Go Golfing!
