Boat cruising through Algarve Coast
Cruise along sparkling waters on the Algarve

The Algarve is a golfer’s paradise and #1 golf hotspot in Portugal. Most courses are located in protected areas, with stunning views. They are internationally recognised for the quality of their facilities and have been designed by prestigious players and legendary champions.

Known for its beautiful beaches and Mediterranean climate, the Algarve is the perfect spot in Southern Portugal to kick back. Golden sands, warm sunshine and crystal clear blue waters adorn the Algarve coastline, making this location fantastic for cruising. Magnificent rock formations stand tall along the cliff edge as you glide through the water below.

Colourful Dwellings in Lisbon, Portugal
Get lost in time in Lisbon

The charming city of Lisbon sits on the southwestern coast of Portugal. It’s the capital city and has featured on Lonely Planet’s Top Ten Cities for its abundance of beautiful sights, culture and cuisine. Colourful buildings line the streets of the oldest city in western Europe. You’ll find highly-rated golf courses in the Lisbon area between Estoril and Sintra. Perhaps the most famous course is at the upmarket Penha Longa Golf Club in a former monastic estate, designed by Robert Trent Jones and that has hosted the Portuguese Open.

A popular way to get around Lisbon is the tramline. Whilst modern trams are most convenient, 40 of Portugal’s 58 trams are vintage streetcars. If you’d like to step back in time, the Nostalgic Tram No. 28 still runs. This wooden tram is a delightful way to move through the city and experience Lisbon’s highlights and hidden gems.

Enjoy traditional flavours

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, Pasteis de Belem is the place to be. The charming bakery has been handmaking their original Pasteis de Belem since 1837, and they still use the same secret recipe. It began with a single person from a monastery who decided to sell sweet baked goods after all convents and monasteries were shut down during the liberal revolution in 1834. Since then, people from far and wide have visited the parish of Belem and enjoyed the delicious traditional treats.

Explore the square

Lisbon’s most charming plaza, Praça dos Restauradores, is filled with sights attracting visitors from all over the world. Commemorating Portugal’s independence, Restauradores obelisk stands tall in the centre of the plaza. Next, is the Eden Theatre, designed in stunning Art Deco style with pastel pink exterior.
