Here’s what happened at our first golf tournament in 2020

Go Golfing’s first golf tournament in 2020 since Covid-19 has been and won.

On last Sunday, 60 Queenslanders flocked to Noosa Springs to compete in Go Golfing’s acclaimed 4 Ball tournament format. This 3-day event saw golfers enjoy 3 days of golf, postcard-perfect weather and nightly social events.

Go Golfing’s COVID-safe accreditation meant that participants could focus on their swing. Temperature checks were completed daily and social distancing adhered to – but not at the expense of fun, there was plenty of high elbows and after golf shenanigans.

Three divisions ensured golfers got to play with new people each day, of a similar age and handicap. Both winners and runners up walked away with quality prizes, but the overall sentiment from all golfers was that the real winner was the fun, the friendship and the frivolity.
