New Zealand North Island Golf Tour

11 – 21 March 2018

11 Days – 6 Rounds of Golf

  • Book both North and South Island tours and get a FREE flight to connect both tours.

New Zealand is home to a stunning array of golf courses set in incredible locations. This fully escorted golf tour will see you play the superstars of the New Zealand landscape – courses designed by world class architects such as Dr Alister MacKenzie, Tom Doak and Jack Nicklaus. The North Island is renowned for its sweeping coastlines, rolling hills and tranquil beaches. Golf courses work with nature and the views are breathtaking. This golf holiday is guaranteed to impress.

Start in style with Titirangi and Windross Farm near Auckland. Travel through the central north island and play the cleverly designed courses of Wairakei and Kinloch. Visit the Hawkes Bay region, a gem of the North Island with its world famous wines, mild temperatures and tee off at the world famous Cape Kidnappers. Finish in Wellington, home to the country’s only course with royal status, Royal Wellington.

You’ll get the chance to sample exquisite food, experience Maori culture, journey through landscapes that blend magnificent beaches, sprawling farmlands and geothermal wonders. We invite you to join us on this wonderful golf odyssey. For the ultimate North Island golf experience, come early to join our pre-tour to the #1 ranked Kauri Cliffs. And for more exquisite golf, the tour finishes in time for you to join Go Golfing’s NZ South Island golf tour.

P.S. A special thank you is extended to New Zealand Tourism for giving us access to a wonderful image library for our marketing. We credit the following photographers: Chris McLennan (Auckland skyline by night), Amos Chapple (Kauri Cliffs) and Julian Apse (Wellington images).

Rotorua is a spectacular geothermal wonderland bursting with bubbling mud pools, clouds of steam and natural hot springs.

We stop at the Maori Village of Whakarewarewa. Set amidst a landscape of erupting geothermal activity and hot thermal springs, you’ll enjoy a cultural show and a traditional Hangi luncheon.

Great selection of golf courses, Kinloch and Cape Kidnappers were standouts. The County Hotel Napier was just delightful and, of course, could not fault our tour guide, Graeme..

Trevor, 2018 NZ North

Had a great time, the hotels were awesome. The County Hotel Napier was especially delightful. Really enjoyed the balance of sightseeing and golf. The golf courses were varied and excellent. My personal favourite was Kinloch, just so different (and Scottish), Bob loved Wairakei (special highlight seeing a family of deer). Graeme was a great host.

Bob and Jean, 2017 NZ North

Had a great time. Enjoyed the variety of courses. especially Cape Kidnappers. Graeme did a great job as Tour Director. Enjoyed The County Hotel in Napier, very different accommodation with lovely staff.

Jenny, 2017 NZ North

The highlights: Cape Kidnappers and County Hotel in Napier. Very competent tour host.

Wendy, 2018 NZ North

A great way to have a golfing holiday. Everything is organised for you. You meet some lovely people and play on some amazing golf courses.

Gus and Greta, 2017 NZ North

What a great time we had with a whole heap of great people. What happens on tour stays on tour, so no story telling. I’ve never seen such manicured fairways as Cape Kidnappers. A carpet without any weeds.

Mark, 2017 NZ North

Really enjoyed the whole tour. Great to get to know the people. Seems everyone had a great time with a lot of laughs. I don’t think too many worried about their scores too much but just were very grateful to be able to have a hit on the various courses.

Peter, 2018 NZ North

We enjoyed our holiday. It was well organised and the courses and accommodation were excellent.

John, 2017 NZ North

Good tour and great golf courses. Met lovely people – some for the second and third time. All in all a great experience.

Peter, 2017 NZ North

Kinloch, Wairakei and Cape Kidnappers were all wonderful golf courses and I’d love to play all 3 of them again one day.
