There is an air of excitement at breakfast knowing today we play at the world famous Cape Kidnappers, ranked in the top 20 courses worldwide. It is both beautiful and compelling. It takes a full 20 minutes to drive from the gate to the clubhouse – through a sheep and cattle station. This seclusion means that the golf course is on pristine land on the edge of towering cliffs high above the ocean. Architect Tom Doak has designed a course of great drama, interest, originality and beauty.
Non-golfers: Take time to enjoy Art Deco Napier and everything it has to offer.

Steeped in history and tradition the club has hosted NZ Open championships since 1912, and it became the first and only golf club in the country to receive royal status in 2004. Great selection of golf courses, Kinloch and Cape Kidnappers were standouts. The County Hotel Napier was just delightful and, of course, could not fault our tour guide, Graeme..
Trevor, 2018 NZ North
Had a great time, the hotels were awesome. The County Hotel Napier was especially delightful. Really enjoyed the balance of sightseeing and golf. The golf courses were varied and excellent. My personal favourite was Kinloch, just so different (and Scottish), Bob loved Wairakei (special highlight seeing a family of deer). Graeme was a great host.

Gus and Greta, 2017 NZ North
What a great time we had with a whole heap of great people. What happens on tour stays on tour, so no story telling. I’ve never seen such manicured fairways as Cape Kidnappers. A carpet without any weeds.
Mark, 2017 NZ North
Really enjoyed the whole tour. Great to get to know the people. Seems everyone had a great time with a lot of laughs. I don’t think too many worried about their scores too much but just were very grateful to be able to have a hit on the various courses.
Peter, 2018 NZ North
We enjoyed our holiday. It was well organised and the courses and accommodation were excellent.
John, 2017 NZ North
Good tour and great golf courses. Met lovely people – some for the second and third time. All in all a great experience.

Kinloch, Wairakei and Cape Kidnappers were all wonderful golf courses and I’d love to play all 3 of them again one day.
