Get Happy at Dubai Creek Club

Voted one of the world’s ‘Top 100 Must-Play Golf Courses’, the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has been host to numerous tournaments and events, including the Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions.

A round of golf in the heart of the city has a distinct aura of a delightful journey across the fabled landscape of Dubai, a city that thrives in all seasons.

Well-groomed fairways lined with date palms and coconut trees, attractive water hazards and shrubbery lends a tropical air to the Club’s 18-hole, par-71 championship course that rolls into thousands of undulating yards. Apart from the Creek, which comes into play on at least four holes, several artificial lakes add to the beauty and difficulty of various other holes.

The presence of multiple tees ensures that golfers of all calibres enjoy their day out at the course. While the length of the tee helps, there is a need for accuracy, especially with the approach shots as most of the greens are multi-tiered with subtle borrows.

The majestic Clubhouse – its design mirroring the sails of the traditional Arab dhow – has been one of the most photographed landmarks since it opened in 1993, capturing the essence of Dubai’s seafaring traditions and presenting the perfect fusion of heritage with modernity and style.

The Go Golfing Dubai To Abu Dhabi Golf Tour takes you on a journey through crumbling deserts, towering cityscapes, fascinating marketplaces and amazingly lush golf courses. Some of the biggest names in golf- Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Pete Dye, Kyle Phillips, Gary Player and Colin Montgomerie, just to name a few have created world class designs that have lured the world’s top golfers to compete for breathtaking prize money.
