Wrest Point International Masters
At Go Golfing we are extremely proud of the Wrest Point International Masters standing as Australia’s best ‘week of golf’. Renowned for great competition, outstanding prizes and sensational social events with world class entertainment, our 2013 event experience was further enhanced by Wrest Point’s 40th birthday celebrations.
Over 400 golfers from all over Australia as well as international visitors visited Hobart, Tasmania for the tournament which commenced Sunday 6 January. So long as you are over 35 and have an official golf handicap, you can tee it up at the Masters. One of the tournament’s great traditions is that the 15 age and handicap divisions guarantee you play with golfers your own age and standard.
Royal Hobart and Tasmania golf clubs are the State’s premier private courses and hosted the four days of tournament golf, with a rest day on Wednesday. Optional activites on Wednesday saw participants enjoying a food, wine and history tour to Richmond, an optional day of golf at Calremont Golf Club, or just enjoyed the day relaxing.
