ITINERARY:
Breakfast. Morning at leisure to visit golf emporium. Early light lunch included. Afternoon guided tour of Soweto with a local expert township tour guide. Visit the Hector Petersen Memorial, Mandela house, Vilikazi Street, a youth township programme, with entrance fees included. Return to Pretoria. Dinner at the hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Mon 13 Aug
Following breakfast enjoy a morning city tour of Pretoria and then make our way to Entabeni (2 hours 45 minutes), late afternoon check in to Legends Golf Resort. Time to explore the resort’s facilities including the spa & wellness centre or the magnificent white lions that call the resort home. Dinner included. (B,D)
Day 4: Tues 14 Aug
Following breakfast, a morning round at Legends Golf Course, home to the unique “world in one” signature course where each of the 18 holes has been designed by a world golfing great. Lunch for all will be served at the golf club before we transfer to the Entabeni Game Reserve. A special treat awaits us this afternoon with a sunset game drive with open safari vehicles in the 22,000 ha malaria free area of this private game reserve—we’ll be sure to see elephants, lions, giraffes & leopards which are prevalent in the reserve. Following our safari enjoy a hearty dinner at the Lakeside Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Wed 15 Aug
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Time to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the wilderness. Lunch served at the Lakeside Restaurant. An optional excursion to play the Legend’s extreme 19th hole complete with heli flight to the tee! (additional charge). Late afternoon/evening is arguable the best time for a game drive and we have another in store this afternoon. Dinner served at the lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Thurs 16 Aug
Early check out and a morning game drive en route to the reserve gate. Return by road to Johannesburg for the flight to Durban in the afternoon. Your afternoon is free to explore picturesque Durban. Riverside Hotel. (B)
Day 7: Fri 17 Aug
A morning visit to Ushaka Marine World, the southern hemisphere’s largest marine park. Golfers tee up golf at Durban CC, the only course on the continent to be rated among the top 100 in the world. Views over the Indian Ocean, undulating fairways and sand dunes make for a unique experience. Non-golfers can enjoy an interesting city tour of Durban (at own expense). (B, L—golfers)
Day 8: Sat 18 Aug
Morning at leisure. Afternoon golf at Zimbali GC nestled amongst the ocean and forest with exceptional wetland features. Non-golfers may visit the Gateway Shopping Centre in the afternoon. (B, L-golfers)
Day 9: Sun 19 Aug
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head to the Phezulu Zulu Cultural Village After the tour we proceed to King Shaka Airport. We then take a flight to Cape Town (2 hours). Travel to the Winelands area. And check into Devon Valley Hotel. (B)
Day 10: Mon 20 Aug
Morning round of golf in the wine lands at De Zalze Golf Club. An excellent combination of parkland holes and links characteristics, the water features reward those with accuracy. Non-golfers visit the town of Stellenbosch and Franschoek, known for the French Huguenot museum. Afternoon picnic lunch at one of the region’s wineries for all. Overnight in the wine lands. (B, L)
Day 11: Tues 21 Aug
Check out of hotel and we’ll enjoy a scenic drive along the Garden Route to George. This afternoon we visit the Transport Museum in George and take a ride on the Outeniqua Power van and climb the Outeniqua Mountains. We’ll arrive late afternoon with time to relax at the stunning Oubaai Hyatt Regency hotel overlooking the Indian Ocean, Herolds Bay. The purpose built whale viewing deck is a popular spot! (B)
Day 12: Wed 22 Aug
Morning round of golf at the stunning Pezula Championship Course in Knysna the jewel of the Garden Route. Dramatic Cliffside holes and immaculately presented greens will both challenge and inspire you. Non-golfers may undertake a boat cruise on the Knysna estuary, oyster tasting and visiting the Knysna Heads (optional). Evening at leisure. (B, L-golfers)
Day 13: Thurs 23 Aug
Morning round of golf at the Oubaai GC near George. A traditional links style layout requiring a full range of shots to score well. The signature 17th will test your concentration skills with whales often sighted breaching in the Indian Ocean. Non-golfers visit an ostrich show farm in Oudtshoorn. (B, L– golfers)
Day 14: Fri 24 Aug
Return to Cape Town via the N2 Highway with a stop at Hermanus for land based whale watching (Southern Right Whales.) Overnight in Cape Town. Portswood Hotel. (B)
Day 15: Sat 25 Aug
A morning cable car ride to table Mountain (weather permitting) followed by a short city tour of Cape Town. Later we tour Cape Point and Boulders penguin beach. (B)
Day 16: Sun 26 Aug
Morning at leisure to visit the V&A Waterfront or an optional extra tour to Robben Island at 09h00 for your own account. This afternoon we’ll take an insightful city tour of Cape Return to the V&A Waterfront for last minute shopping. Optional golf available on request. Farewell dinner with complimentary wines. We’ll celebrate our winners and recant our wonderful experiences. (B,D)
Day 17: Mon: 27 Aug
Following breakfast, we transfer to the airport for your connecting flight to Johannesburg and onward journey. (B)

BOOKING CONDITION
BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS: The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons named on the booking form. The contract will be governed by the booking conditions. Any variation to your booking requirements must be made in writing. All monies received by us will be deposited in a trust account. Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd retains the right to disburse monies paid by you to operators and service providers as required.
CHANGES IN PRICES OR ITINERARY: Prices are based on tariffs current as at 7 November 2011. If we are forced to change your booking or any part of it for reasons beyond our control, we will give you notice thereof, including any change in price. In the event that any change to your itinerary demonstrates that your tour has become materially different from the original, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or withdraw from the tour. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking because of events outside our control we will, if able, offer alternative arrangements. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund any monies still held by us.
AIRFARES: Payment for international airfares is required at time of booking and is subject to airline booking conditions. TOUR COSTS: The tour costing is per person based on sharing twin/double room. The tour cost is in Australian dollars and could fluctuate if unforeseen exchange rates occur.
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS: A non refundable deposit of $1000 per person must accompany this booking application. A second deposit of $3,000 per person is due and payable before 7 May 2012. The balance of monies owing (inc. any optional extras) is due and payable before 11 June 2012. Failure to adhere to this payment schedule may jeopardise your further inclusion on the tour.
$100 discount for Go Golfing Members: This $100 discount will be deducted from the final balance on receipt of your deposit.
PAYMENT TYPES: Cheque payments should be made payable to Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd. We accept Mastercard and Visa Card payments. Note: payment by these credit cards will attract a credit card surcharge equal to 1.5% of the payment amount.
CANCELLATION: Should you cancel your booking the following cancellation charges will apply:- More than 60 days prior to departure - Loss of deposit. Inside 60 days - Up to 100%* *Refunds will be determined on the basis of the amount we are able to recover from suppliers paid on your behalf. No refund is available for cancellations on or after the date of departure or in respect of any accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised. Some local operators apply individual cancellation charges that will affect the total amount of cancellation fees charged.
