Margaret River - once comprised little more than struggling dairy farms is now a cornucopia of gourmet foods, wonderful wineries, exciting international events, amazing attractions and stunning scenery.  Not to mention the trail of golf courses that are a must play on the way to wine country!

One of the highlights of the tour is sure to be our cooking class with Neil Perry trained chef Sioban who also studied Thai cooking under Martin Boetz of Long Grain fame. A delightful 6 course meal which you’ll have fun preparing. It wouldn’t be a visit to the Margaret River without the inclusion of it’s renowned wines—we’ll be joined at dinner by leading a leading winemaker who will expertly match wines to our menu! DAY 1: Saturday 17 November

Arrival in Perth contact Go Golfing for a competitive flight quotation. Ensure that your arrival is no later than the afternoon so that you are able to  join in our welcome reception. Your tour host will provide a tour update, spend the rest of the evening get to know one another. (C)

DAY 2: Sunday 18 November

Breakfast served in Monterey’s Restaurant before we make our way to Mandurah and our first round of golf at The Links Kennedy Bay set amongst 10,000 year old sand dunes and natural bushland. Test your skills on undulating fairways threaded through indigenous vegetation and well positioned pot bunkers.  A taste of links style golf at its finest.  Following our round we check in at The Sebel Resort Mandurah. DAY 3: Monday 19 November

A hearty buffet breakfast at M on the Point before our short transfer to Secret Harbour Golf Club.  Designed by Graham Marsh, the layout features sharp doglegs, strategic lakes and rolling fairways with the ocean as your dramatic backdrop. This afternoon we continue our journey down into wine country with a scenic 2 hour drive to the Margaret River.  Group check in at the Quay West Bunker Bay, nestled on the secluded beachfront of Bunker Bay. Evening at leisure. (B)

DAY 4: Tuesday 20 November

Enjoy breakfast at Other Side of the Moon Restaurant before we hit the gourmet trail for our full day tour. Highlights include five of the regions most select wineries for tasting, along with a gourmet  picnic lunch, a tasty visit to artisan cheese and chocolate providores. Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Australia’s most westerly point, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet is a picturesque spot on our way to the stunning caves of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge beneath the soaring Karri forest. DAY 5: Wednesday 21 November

An early breakfast at Other Side of the Moon before our round at the resort layout of Dunsborough Lakes. Large water features and greens make for an enjoyable round.  The course has recently been reviewed by Scott Designs. We’ll have time to freshen up before our interactive cooking class this afternoon - we’ll cook up a storm with a selection of fresh regional produce and wines then dine on your homemade feast! As a special treat for wine connoisseurs we will be joined by an acclaimed winemaker who will fascinate us with the process of vine to wine..  (B/D)

DAY 6: Thursday 22 November

Before we bid adieu to the Margaret River we’ll dine on a sumptuous breakfast then head north for our last round on tour at The Cut. Regularly rated as the number one course in Western Australia, the Cut Golf Course will provide a fitting test for all. A true links experience on the dunes by the seaside town of Mandurah.  Coastal winds and its challenging layout are reminiscent of those in Ireland and Scotland.  Following our round we continue on to Perth and check into the Pan Pacific before our farewell BBQ on the lawns of the Royal Perth Yacht Club overlooking the city.  The Yacht Club is proudly home to one of Australia’s most famous sporting victories, The America’s Cup and will host our final night dinner.

DAY 7: Friday 23 November

Breakfast in Monterey’s Restaurant before your departure at leisure. Go Golfing would be delighted to assist  your vacation planning if you wish to extend your stay and explore more of this regions golf and attractions. (B)

Booking Conditions:

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS: The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons named on the booking form. The contract will be governed by the booking conditions. Any variation to your booking requirements must be made in writing. All monies received by us will be deposited in a trust account. Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd retains the right to disburse monies paid by you to operators and service providers as required.

CHANGES IN PRICES OR ITINERARY: Prices are based on tariffs current as at 15 February 2012. If we are forced to change your booking or any part of it for reasons beyond our control, we will give you notice thereof, including any change in price. In the event that any change to your itinerary demonstrates that your tour has become materially different from the original, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or withdraw from the tour. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking because of events outside our  control we will, if able, offer alternative arrangements. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund any monies still held by us.

AIRFARES: Travel associated with Go Golfing tours can be made by clients, at preferential rates, directly with Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd. Licence number 2TA5414. TOUR COSTS: The tour costing is per person based on sharing twin/double room. The tour cost is in Australian dollars and could fluctuate if unforeseen exchange rates occur.

DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS: A non refundable deposit of $1000 per person must  accompany this booking application. The balance of monies owing (inc. any optional extras) is due and  payable before 17 September 2012. Failure to adhere to this payment schedule may jeopardise your further inclusion on the tour.

$50 discount for Go Golfing Members: This $50 discount will be deducted from the final balance on receipt of your deposit.

PAYMENT TYPES: Cheque payments should be made payable to Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd. We accept Mastercard and Visa Card payments. Note: payment by these credit cards will attract a credit card surcharge equal to 1.5% of the payment amount.

CANCELLATION: Should you cancel your booking the following cancellation charges will apply:- More than 70 days prior to departure - Loss of deposit. Inside 70 days - Up to 100%* *Refunds will be determined on the basis of the amount we are able to recover from suppliers paid on your behalf. No refund is available for cancellations on or after the date of departure or in respect of any accommodation, meals or any other  services not utilised. Some local operators apply individual cancellation charges that will affect the total amount of cancellation fees charged.
