DAY 1 - Wednesday 11th July
Welcome to Canada. Meet at the stately Fairmont Palliser hotel and check in at leisure. Make yourself comfortable and relax before we meet in the morning.
DAY 2 - Thursday 12th July
A relaxed start to the day with time to adjust. This morning we’ll gather for a sumptuous brunch and get to know each other. Our tour host will provide you with a detailed tour update and explain our unique Go Golfing scoring system. Following brunch, we’ll transfer to the colourful Calgary Stampede. The city comes to life during this festival and 2012 is set to be the biggest yet. Celebrating 100 years of Stampede, Calgary will provide a vibrant backdrop for fun! Today the Rodeo takes centrestage. Our platinum seats will ensure we are right amongst the action. (B)
DAY 3—Friday 13th July
Following breakfast, we’ll transfer to the Valley Ridge Golf Club and kick start our golfing adventure. A stunning course, well laid out and maintained – thoroughly enjoyable. Surrounded by rushing waters and tall timber with all of the trappings of a private course. Time to rest and get ready to bootscoot! We are off to the Calgary Stampede for the action packed evening show, featuring live performances and all of the excitement of the chuckwagon races! (B/L)
Day 4– Saturday 14th July
This morning following a relaxing breakfast, we’ll board the coach for the scenic drive to Banff as we move into the Rockies. A scenic tour including breathtaking Lake Louise, Victoria Glacier, Lake Minnewanka. Make sure you bring your camera – this is not to be missed! A treat for all travellers will be our stay at the Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel, styled after a Scottish Baronial Castle. Few hotels in the world rival the majesty, hospitality and grandeur of The Fairmont Banff Springs resort. Set within a UNESCO world heritage site and built in the late 1800’s, you will really feel like you are in another world… (B)
DAY 5– Sunday 15th July
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before our golfers will tee it up at Banff Springs Golf Course. The course is an exciting layout that has made the most of the natural terrain and the surrounding mountains, creating incredible optical illusions. With remarkable views in every direction, it is easy to understand why golfers get distracted. (B)
DAY 6 – Monday 16th July
Today we head off into the heart of the Rockies for Kelowna. Kelowna is in the Okanagan Valley – the ‘fruit basket’ of Western Canada and regarded as Canada’s premier wine growing district. A wonderful drive through some of the most picturesque scenery in the region including Yoho National Park and Glacier National Park. Check in this afternoon at Delta Grand Okanagan, located lakeside. DAY 7 – Tuesday 17th July
Following breakfast, we play Gallagher’s Canyon golf course, known internationally for its impressive test of golf and spectacular scenery. The bent grass fairways, tees and greens are boarded by majestic Ponderosa Pines and white silica bunkers creating a masterpiece. Golfers will find this course as challenging as it is scenic. A highlight of the tour will be our visit to the palatial Mission Hills Winery for a guided tour followed by a gourmet dinner and wine pairing experience second to none. (B/D).
DAY 8 – Wednesday 18th July
Today following breakfast we’ll hit the trail and make our way to Whistler. A very scenic drive along the Duffy Lake Road and through historic farming towns onward to the alpine village of Whistler. Located in the Coastal Mountains, Whistler enjoyed profile and prestige as home to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Time for you to experience the atmosphere for yourself. This afternoon, why not take a cable car up to the top of Whistler and enjoy a BBQ Dinner (optional). Check in to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler (B).
DAY 9 – Thursday 19th July
Breakfast at the magnificent Wildflower restaurant, then our golfing adventure takes us to Nicklaus North Golf Course. Your surroundings today include a brilliant emerald-coloured lake, majestic fir trees and fresh, invigorating mountain air. All of this inspired the great Jack Nicklaus to create this sensational layout. Located only minutes from the cobblestone walkways and street side cafes of Whistler, Nicklaus North is regarded as one of the great courses in North America. (B)
DAY 10 – Friday 20th July
Breakfast and then we transfer to the Fairmont Whistler Golf Course. Carved out of the Coast Mountain range with elevation changes of more than 400 feet overall, Whistler golf course will provide a unique challenge whilst maintaining it’s reputation for fun! Designer Robert Trent Jones Jr has allowed nature to dictate the path without commercial influence traversing creeks, ponds, stands of ancient Douglas fir and granite rock faces. The course is home to a variety of wildlife including black bear and deer. Take your camera, most of last year’s touring party were lucky enough to get photos of the black bears. (B)
DAY 11 – Saturday 21st July
Enjoy breakfast at our hotel before heading south along the sea to Sky Highway which follows Howe Sound. Stop at the impressive Shannon Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in British Columbia. Board a ferry and cruise through the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island. This afternoon, we check in to the stunning Fairmont Empress Hotel. (B)
DAY 12 – Sunday 22nd July
Following our breakfast, we’ll transfer to golf at The Westin Bear Mountain. Set in the foothills of Mount Finlayson and co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and son Steve. Bear Mountain is widely regarded as one of the finest courses Victoria has to offer. Take in panoramic mountain, city and ocean views as you play this course idyllically set within rolling fairways and lush forest. (B)
DAY 13 – Monday 23rd July
Golf today leads us to Olympic View Golf Club after breakfast at the hotel. Surrounded by the magnificence of the Olympic Mountains, the roar of two spectacular waterfalls, and the tranquillity of twelve lakes. The 17th with its Chinese island garden and 60 foot waterfalls behind the green is one of the most picturesque backdrops to any golf hole in the world. (B)
DAY 14 – Tuesday 24th July
Following breakfast, we will tour the famous Butchart Gardens, a 22 hectare showpiece of magnificent colourful gardens. We’ll then board the ferry to Vancouver and on arrival we’ll tour the city’s highlights including Gastown, Stanley Park, the waterfront and Chinatown. Evening at leisure. (B)
DAY 15 – Wednesday 25th July
Transfer to Westwood Plateau Golf Course following your breakfast. Westwood Plateau is already rated in the top 10 of Canada’s public courses and the 5th hole has the distinguished honour of being selected as one of Canada’s top 18 holes. Evening at leisure. (B)
DAY 16 – Thursday 26th July
Relax this morning and take the day at your own pace. Time for some last minute shopping before our afternoon tour and presentation dinner. We’ll visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the world’s longest suspension foot bridge and experience the ‘Treetops Adventure’ forest canopy walkway. We’ll take the famous Grouse Mountain Sky ride above the Douglas Firs and enjoy breathtaking views of the city, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands and snowy peaks. At the top of Grouse Mountain see grizzly bears in the refuge for endangered wildlife, Lumberjack and Birds in motion shows. A fitting finale to celebrate our victors and relive the memories of a wonderful time is our presentation dinner on Grouse Mountain with fine regional fare and wines overlooking the glittering cityscape. DAY 17 – Friday 27th July
A hearty breakfast and then we bid farewell to Canada or continue with your onward journey.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS: The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons named on the booking form. The contract will be governed by the booking conditions. Any variation to your booking requirements must be made in writing. All monies received by us will be deposited in a trust account. Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd retains the right to disburse monies paid by you to operators and service providers as required.
CHANGES IN PRICES OR ITINERARY: Prices are based on tariffs current as at 12 Dec, 2011. If we are forced to change your booking or any part of it for reasons beyond our control, we will give you notice thereof, including any change in price. In the event that any change to your itinerary demonstrates that your tour has become materially different from the original, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or withdraw from the tour. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking because of events outside our control we will, if able, offer alternative arrangements. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund any monies still held by us.

Flights booked with Go Golfing Travel require full payment at time of booking and are subject to the terms and conditions of the corresponding airline.
TOUR COSTS: The tour costing is per person based on sharing twin/double room. The tour cost is in Australian dollars and could fluctuate if unforeseen exchange rates occur.
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS: A non refundable deposit of $1000 per person must accompany this booking application. A second deposit of $3,000 per person is due and payable before 15 March 2012. The balance of monies owing (inc. any optional extras) is due and payable before 16 April 2012. Failure to adhere to this payment schedule may jeopardise your further inclusion on the tour.
$100 discount for Go Golfing Members: This $100 discount will be deducted from the final balance on receipt of your deposit.
PAYMENT TYPES: Cheque payments should be made payable to Go Golfing Travel Pty Ltd. We accept Mastercard and Visa Card payments. Note: payment by these credit cards will attract a credit card surcharge equal to 1.5% of the payment amount.
CANCELLATION: Should you cancel your booking the following cancellation charges will apply:- More than 70 days prior to departure - Loss of deposit. Inside 70 days - Up to 100%* *Refunds will be determined on the basis of the amount we are able to recover from suppliers paid on your behalf. No refund is available for cancellations on or after the date of departure or in respect of any accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised. Some local operators apply individual cancellation charges that will affect the total amount of cancellation fees charged.
