Just a quick note to express my sincere gratitude for arranging a fantastic golfing adventure. Everything ran like clockwork. This was my first Go Golfing event, which was also the first for 2 very good mates... and it won't be our last.
My wife and I would like to thank all the Go Golfing staff for the fabulous week we had on the Gold Coast and would not hesitate to recommend the tournament to anyone.

Thanks for another excellent event, well organised, well managed, and such a fun time - also thanks to your staff for always being so helpful and informed.
A bloody fantastic week and a very well run tournament. Played some great courses. Had a top time with my mates and it was great to get to know the Go Golfing team. See you next year guys.
The Championship will be a 72-hole single stableford event. “A” grade golfers will also be eligible to compete for a 72-hole ‘gross’ event. Competition rounds will be conducted on Monday 24 October, Tuesday 25, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 2016.
Carved through 101 hectares of established pine forest, the course features corridor approaches to several holes, with lakes guarding others. Fourteen of the holes are contoured around six man-made lakes. There is an abundance of wildlife including rare bird life and scores of native Australian kangaroos.
Palm Meadows’ signature hole is the world famous 18th; it measures 523 metres from the championship tees. Players accept the challenge and decide how much of the right dogleg they want to cut off. American Golf Digest rated Palm Meadows 18th in the world’s top 500 golf holes. It has been 6 years since Palm Meadows hosted the World Masters, but with new bunkers, new carts and those fantastic greens, we welcome Palm Meadows return this year.
Play the Graham Marsh re-designed Championship course which hosts the Australian PGA Championship and the RACV Australian Ladies Masters. Set against a lush tropical background and just minutes from the Gold Coast’s most famous beaches, the championship course will test the most astute golfer.
The Glades Golf Club boasts the reputation as one of Australia’s most prestigious resort golf courses and is located right here on the Gold Coast. Designed by champion Australian golfing icon, Greg Norman, the course is typical of his trademark aggressive layouts offering golfers a challenging round of golf within visually stunning surrounds.
Entry is open to all male and female golfers over the age of 35 with an official handicap. All golfers play a 72 hole single stableford event while “A” grade golfers are eligible to compete for the best stroke/gross.
You are guaranteed to play with golfers your own age and standard.
35-55 A,B,C grade (max h’cap 30men; 40 ladies)
56-65 A,B,C grade (max h’cap 30men; 40 ladies)
66+ A,B,C grade (max h’cap 36men; 45 ladies)
Age and handicap divisions may be adjusted based on entries.
In partnership with GOLFLink (Australia) and International Golf Associations the tournament committee will review the 6 month playing history of all entrants. The tournament committee reserves the right to amend player handicaps.
The ‘slope handicap system’ will be utilised to calculate player handicaps for the Championship rounds. Under the slope system, the difficulty of the golf course and the tee blocks played from determine a player’s handicap prior to the start of each round.
For the enjoyment of all players, field sizes will be limited and experienced marshals will monitor pace of play. Tips to improve speed of play and the penalties for slow play will be provided to all players.
