2011 ITINERARY:
Day 1
Depart Brisbane Passenger Terminal at 2pm. Ensure that you have checked in by midday. Watch the spectacle of the ship setting sail and cruising up the Brisbane River and under the Gateway Bridges— get in the mood with the Sail away party on the Lido Deck. This evening we'll get to know each other at our welcome dinner in the Palm Court Dining Room.
Day 2
Relax and enjoy the day on board, with one of the many activities including volleyball, shuffleboard, yoga, pilates. Indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at the Lotus Spa (optional extra) or just sit back and chill out by one of the pools. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 3
After breakfast disembark and transfer in our private super cat to Hamilton Island Golf Club for 1st round of teams event (today is a 9 hole event followed by a sumptuous seafood bbq lunch). Designed by five time British Open Champion Peter Thomson, the 6, 130 metre par 71 course on Dent Island features unparalleled views of the Whitsundays and the surrounding Great barrier Reef. Reboard the vessel by 3.30pm and then freshen up for daily prize presentation then kickback and enjoy the ships onboard entertainment facilities and fantastic restaurants.
Day 4
When you wake this morning, we will be docking in Yorkey's Knob (just north of Cairns). Following breakfast, we'll transfer to Paradise Palms for round 2 the course features undulating greens and is complemented by acclaimed a-la-carte restaurant, bar, sporting and lifestyle amenities.
Day 5
After breakfast a round at the magnificent Sea Temple Resort with rich green fairways, framed by tropical rainforest and stunning mountain views and cooled by sea breezes, is enough to strike joy into the heart of any true golfer. Add a remarkable test of golfing ability with large undulating greens guarded by traditional pot bunkers, and the Sea Temple Golf & Country Club, Port Douglas is to be experienced to be believed.
Day 6
Enjoy a day of leisure. With only the sun as your only timekeeper you are free to indulge in one of the many pleasures on board the Pacific Dawn.
Day 7
Relax on your last day cruising as we sail our way down the coastline homeward to Brisbane. Maybe a game of volleyball or a dip in one of the many pools and spas. Refine your appreciation of wine or coffee with a class facilitated by an expert or be entertained with one of the latest movies in the ships cinema. Then join us for our Farewell dinner before burning up the dance floor.
DAY 8
An early breakfast and then disembark at the Brisbane International Passenger terminal. Ensure that your onward departures are scheduled after 10am.
