2009 TOUR ITINERARY
MONDAY 2 NOVEMBER
Please ensure your flight into Melbourne* arrives by 10am. If already in Melbourne, please make your way to Crowne Plaza and be ready to depart for golf by 11am. From the airport we drop off our luggage en-route to Yarra Yarra. Lunch is provided before our 1pm shotgun start, following golf enjoy light refreshments in the historic clubhouse. Non golfers can check into the Crowne Plaza and have the afternoon to enjoy shopping and sightseeing in Melbourne.

TUESDAY 3 NOVEMBER
The $5.1 million Emirate Melbourne Cup is so much more than a horse race. It is a time worn tradition that brings Australia to a standstill. Australia’s best staying horses will line up against the best from the Northern Hemisphere and Asia for racing’s ultimate prize and glory. Following breakfast, don your finest racewear and prepare for an unforgettable day trackside. With private transfers, you will be delivered to the front gates at Flemington. With seating reserved for the privileged few, in the undercross you will be in air-conditioned comfort and in excellent view of the finish line.
WEDNESDAY 4 NOVEMBER
Breakfast and perhaps a short walk through South Bank before we transfer to Woodlands Golf Club . Woodlands Golf Club has been voted consistently in the top 20 Australian Golf Courses, located in the Sandbelt region. Evening at leisure.
THURSDAY 5 NOVEMBER
A day of celebration, Oak’s Day is Melbourne’s traditional ladies day at the races. With Flemington roses in full bloom, it is a day of high fashion, champagne, fun and equine athleticism. Again today, we will be in the prime position of the Undercross with reserved seating and air conditioning. Upgrade options available for the International Lounge (additional cost of $480 pp). We also have a punters club, where funds are pooled in a bid to win big. Evening at leisure.
FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER
Breakfast and perhaps a short walk through South Bank before we transfer to the picturesque Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Following your final round, join us for a sumptuous 3 course menu with premium beverages and great golf prizes.
SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER
Following breakfast, there is time for a quick trip into the city. We will depart the hotel at noon for the airport, arriving at approximately 12.45pm. We recommend that that you book a flight that departs after 1.30pm.
SPOIL YOURSELF IN THE INTERNATIONAL LOUNGE – Overlooking the saddling enclosure with your own private racing and betting facilities including race book; On arrival you’ll be treated to an excellent selection of gourmet hors d'oeuvres for morning tea; followed by an exquisite buffet lunch to die for including all the seafood, oysters, roasts, hams, turkey, etc. plus an extensive selection of salads, cheeses and deserts.
