The most difficult thing to create in sport is a level playing field and the Mitsubishi Masters has managed to do it with the most comprehensive handicapping system in competitive golf. The state-of-the-art system relies on a complex database and statistical analysis of each player’s history, experienced tournament committee and good old fashioned hard work. Handicaps are reviewed daily during the tournament and anyone found cheating is given their marching orders. |
