Affectionately known as the Golf Coast, the Gold Coast has more than 35 courses including Australia’s premier golf resorts. The Greg Norman designed Glades and the Jack Nicklaus signature Lakelands will host this exciting 4 Ball format featuring four rounds of ambrose, best ball and aggregate stableford competition. Morning shotgun starts will be followed with a complimentary lunch each day. The Glades layout was designed by champion golfer and Australian sporting icon Greg Norman, and is typical of his trademark aggressive style. A feature on the course is the trademark Greg Norman bunkering - in total there are 98 bunkers. Greg not only had a vision to design a challenging golf course, but he also retained 9 hectares of wetland area to create a natural wildlife sanctuary within the course. Playing Lakelands, you will enjoy the experience of the knowledge and excellence that the worlds finest ever golfer, winner of twenty majors, brings to golf course design. The Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus has designed over 100 golf courses on five continents. It took twenty-five years for Jack Nicklaus to find the perfect location for his first signature golf course in Australia…and the vision is now a reality. Great fun and camaraderie will be fostered at the nightly social and entertainment events starting with a lavish poolside welcome dinner. In the early evenings golfers will mingle at Radisson’s very stylish ‘Club Terrace’ for a happy hour and golf presentations then a complimentary shuttle will allow you to enjoy the Broadbeach restaurants and Surfers Paradise bars in the evenings.
